Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy New Year! I hope that you are all having a wonderful start to 2015! I missed all of the Dragon students over the break, and I've really enjoyed hearing all of their news and updates over the past few days. Also, is it just me, or did everyone grow taller in just those two weeks?!

100TH DAY PROJECT: DUE ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 29TH
The 100th day of school is a HUGE deal in Kindergarten! We are going to make special T-shirts, hats, and sunglasses in preparation for the big day. I would also like to ask parents to work with their children on a special "100th Day" project. More details will be included in next week's homework packet, but please start thinking about what item(s) you might want to use! Just remember...you'll need 100 of whatever you choose!

CHINESE NAMES: DUE ON MONDAY, JANUARY 26TH
As I may have already mentioned to some of you, we switch from English names to Chinese names in the middle of Kindergarten. This year, we will officially start using Chinese names during the first week of February. In next week's homework packet, you will find instructions for either (1) typing the name directly into a Google Doc, or (2) writing the name on paper and returning it with the homework packet. If your child does not have a Chinese name yet, please make a note on the form and we can work together to come up with one!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Best regards,
Suen Lao Shi 孫老師
